摘要: Recently, antibiotic resistant microorganisms have become an increasing public health problem. Traditional Chinese medicine and probiotic treatment have recently received much attention as alternative therapeutic methods. In order to investigate the germicidal efficacy of a mixture of three lactic acid bacteria metabolites, we carried out a study involving a cylinder-plate assay and a carrier quantitative germicidal test. It was noted that the mixture of three lactic acid bacteria metabolites showed an excellent antimicrobial effect on Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Canidia albicans ATCC 10231, and Aspergillius niger ATCC 16404. Our findings provide an experimental basis for future investigation of their practical application in combination with traditional Chinese medicines.
