    摘要 ( 338 )   PDF(866KB) ( 325 )
The fruit of Camptotheca acuminate is used as a traditional Chinese medicine. Eight compounds were isolated from the fruit of
Camptotheca acuminate for the first time, including (+)-(S)-abscisic acid (1), blumenol A (2), (E)-3-hydroxymegastigm-7-en-9-
    one (3), (-)-(3R)-3,5-dimethyl-8-methoxy-3,4-dihydroisocoumarin (4), (-)-(3R)-8-methoxy-3-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1H-isochromen-
    1-one (5), neocnidilide (6), (3S)-butylphthalide (7) and senkyunolide I (8). Their structures were determined by comprehensive
spectroscopic methods, including HRESIMS and 1D NMR.

An endophytic fungus Aspergillus fumigatus, isolated from the fruits of Solanum insanum L., was cultured in potato dextrose
broth medium. Chromatographic separation of the EtOAc extract led to the isolation of six secondary metabolites, identified
    as pseurotin A (1), fumigaclavine C (2), monomethylsulochrin (3), trypacidin (4), fumiquinazoline C (5) and guignasulfide (6)
by spectral means. Compounds 2 and 3 showed brine shrimp toxicity with IC50 values of 147 and 74.2 μM, respectively, while
compounds 4 and 5 showed slight inhibition on the growth of fungal pathogen Cladosporium cladosporioides. This is the first
report of the isolation of guignasulfide (6) from A. fumigatus, which has been previously isolated only from an endophytic fungus
    Guignardia sp.

Determination of seven active components in Salvia miltiorrhiza herb by matrix solid phase dispersion combined with ion liquid#br# extraction followed by high performance liquid chromatography
Bo Hong, Yanping Wang, Yinglong Han, Wenjing Li
    2021 (2):  83-97.
    摘要 ( 212 )   PDF(1143KB) ( 293 )
A low cost, rapid and sensitive preparation method of silica gel supported ionic liquid (SGSIL) combined with matrix solid phase
dispersion (MSPD) followed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet detection (UV) is proposed,
and it was applied to determine the seven active compounds in Salvia Miltiorrhiza herb. SGSIL and ionic liquid [BMIM]BF4 were used as the adsorbent and the green elution reagent in the MSPD procedure. Several extraction conditions including type of filler and elution solvent, the volume of elution solvent, material liquid ratio were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the
SGSIL-MSPD-HPLC method showed a low limit of detection (LOD, S/N = 3) of 0.0122-0.8788 μg/mL for standard solution, limit
of quantification (LOQ, S/N = 10) of 0.0406-2.9292 μg/mL for standard solution, wide linear range from 1.56 to 2000 μg/mL for all compounds for standard solution, correlation coefficients (r) of more than 0.9990, acceptable reproducibility (relative standard deviations, RSDs < 3.54%), and precision of RSDs < 3.36% for intra-day, RSDs < 3.50% for inter-day. The satisfactory recoveries ranged from 96.4 to 102.5, with RSDs less than 3.45%. The developed SGSIL-MSPD method is easier and more suitable for the determination of the seven active compounds in Salvia Miltiorrhiza herb than the traditional ultrasonic extraction. It was an effective and efficient method for the extraction and quantification of the seven active compounds in traditional Chinese herbal samples.

Isolation and identification of chemical constituents from Elephantopus scaber Linn.
Wei Xu, Ming Bai, Xiaoxiao Huang
    2021 (2):  98-104.
    摘要 ( 227 )   PDF(1075KB) ( 419 )
Elephantopus scaber L., as a popular Chinese medicinal herb of the Compositae family, is widely distributed in America, Africa
and Asia. In the present study, five compounds were isolated from the 70% EtOH extract of the whole herb from Elephantopus
scaber L., including two lignans and three flavones. Their chemical structures were identified based on NMR spectroscopic analysis and comparison with the data reported in literature. It is noteworthy that compounds 1-5 were isolated from Elephantopus scaber L. for the first time and their chemotaxonomic significance was discussed.

Research review on the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Piper hancei
Yilin Zhao, Peiyuan Yang, Jiaxin Chen, Lili Lou
    2021 (2):  105-113.
    摘要 ( 278 )   PDF(1061KB) ( 337 )

Traditional Chinese medicine “Shanju”, the dry stem of Piperaceae plant Piper hancei Maxim, is mainly distributed in southern China. Historically, P. hancei has been used as a substitute for the traditional Chinese medicine “Haitengtong” to treat
rheumatism, joint pain, and asthma. At present, chemical constituents of it have been reported. In order to review the advances
in chemical and pharmacologic studies and discuss the potential prospects for future investigation, the report summarized over
92 compounds isolated from P. hancei, including alkaloids, organic acid, sterol, aglycone, lignans, volatile oil and others. These
compounds exhibited a wide range of bioactivities, such as anti-inflammation, inhibition of platelet aggregation, insecticidal
    effects and bactericidal activity.
