All of the patients used from three percent provided ointment for three months (one or two times a day). Finally the patients were inspected by ophthalmologist monthly and they evaluated visual acuity and lens opacity. Data was analyzed statistically by entering in spss software P<0.05 was interpreted meaningful. From 72 studied patients, 39 patients continued their treatment to the end of the study. The age average was 64/36±12/48 years in these patients. During 3 months treatment, the meaningful recovery was not seen in visual acuity of patients (P=0.948). Also there was not a meaningful change in the patients opacity during three months treatment (P=0.666). With regard to performed statistical researches, the provided Kohl had not any meaningful effect in cataract and it is use is not recommended in the patients affected by cataract with this treatment period and dosage.
