Study on the extraction method of active components from Astragalus mebrananceus (Fisch.) Bge. var. mongholicus (Bge.) Hsiao. with synthetical mark

Abstract: An optimized the extraction method for active components from Astragalus mongholicus (Bge.) Hsiao has been established with orthogonal experiments. The dried extracts yield, the contents of total saponin and polyscaccharide in the extract was used as index with synthetical mark. The optimized extract condition was three-time extraction, after 1.0 hour of water soaking, the Radix Astragali was extracted with the material-water rate of 1:12, 1:8, 1:6 respectively and the reflux time is 2.0, 1.5, 1.0 hours. The average extracts yield was 11.45%, the average contents of total astragaloside and polyscaccharide in the extracts was 0.51% and 50.35% respectively.
