Lam. and Polycarpea corymbosa Lam. have been carried out. During, this macroscopical, microscopical (epidermis, trichomes,
parenchyma, collenchyma, vascular bundle, cell content), physicochemical (moisture content, total ash, water soluble ash, acid
insoluble ash, alcohol soluble and water soluble extractives) and phytochemical studies of these plants were used under WHO
and pharmacopeial guidelines.

Key words: Lepidagathis trinervis, Mollugo nudicaulis, Polycarpea corymbosa, pharmacognostical markers, phytochemical evaluation
