Antiviral medicines from Chinese Materia Medica formulae with heat-clearing and detoxication effect

Abstract: Chinese Materia Medica formulae with heat-clearing and detoxication effect plays an important antiviral role in multi-targets,
multi-levels, and multi-ways in treating virus diseases. Thus, this review mainly introduced the current research on the antiviral
effects, their active ingredients, their mechanism, and improvement of heat-clearing and detoxication of CMM formulae. This
paper strives to describe the progress of CMM formula from different aspects and provide the essential theoretical support and
scientific evidence for the further development.
