Abstract: Viburnum lantana L. (Caprifoliaceae) is a shrub up to 3-5 m tall, with red or black drupes. Researchers have studied the chemical composition of different parts of the plant and found many compounds with novel structures, including chalcone glycosides, iridoid glycosides, and some terpenoids. At the same time, it has been reported that the extracts from different parts of V. lantana have a variety of biological activities, including antioxidant, antimicrobial, and AChE Inhibitory activities. This study reviewed the chemical components and bioactivities of the V. lantana reported in recent years.
