摘要: Even from early civilization, plants have been considered to be powerful tool in treating illness. The present article is an attempt to highlight the list of the traditional plants used to cure diabetes. Active constituents of any medicinal plant define the efficacy and safety of treatment to control diabetes. The herbal drugs with anti-diabetic activity are yet to be commercially formulated as modern medicines, even though they have been acclaimed for their therapeutic properties in the traditional systems of medicine.
