Study on preparation technology of Wurenyunxin tablets

Abstract: The investigation was aimed to determine the optimal formulation and preparation technology of Wurenyunxin tablet, which is composed of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Ziziphi Spinosae Semen. The optimal extraction of raw material was performed by total lignans and total saponin content verifying. We had tried compositions of the core tablets with variation of the amount and kinds of the diluter and the lubricant, as well as the kinds, the amount and adding method of the disintegrant. It was determined to be the optimal preparation process, evaluated by angle of repose, the hardness of the tablets, the difficulty of soft material preparation, and the disintegrating time. The preparation technology was proved to be reasonable, feasible and stable, according to the weight variation and disintegrating time.
